In order to avoid counterfeit pharmaceuticals, the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA) is pressing to uniquely identify individual pharmaceutical packages. Some countries (Turkey, Greece, Italy, Belgium, France) have already introduced this practice independantly of any EU laws or directive. Further countries are in the legislation process (Serbia, Spain). Together with our partners Sensopart and ALBA Makina, Red Ledge have installed over 220 scanning systems in the Pharmaceutical Industry in Turkey alone. This makes us, by a considerable margin, the European market leaders in this technology.
